He Whenua Iti supports whānau to understand, reconnect with and participate in decisions concerning Māori land.
The kaupapa includes building confidence around Māori Land Court information, ownership records, succession, governance, occupation pathways and the responsibilities that come with carrying whenua forward.
We help whānau organise information, identify questions and prepare for the next appropriate step.
We do not provide legal representation, and specialist Māori land advice should be obtained where required.
“I muri, kia mau ki te whakapono, kia mau ki te aroha, ki te ture.”
Hold fast to faith, hold fast to love and hold fast to law.

Te Puna o Te Ao Māori is a whānau-wellbeing pathway grounded in identity, tikanga, whakapapa and connection.
It supports whānau to strengthen cultural confidence, relationships, customary responsibilities and the knowledge needed to live well as Māori in the present world.
The focus is on wellbeing that reaches beyond immediate crisis: restoring belonging, strengthening capability and protecting what must continue for future generations.
Progress, always.
We support whānau to understand how Te Tiriti o Waitangi, rights, duties and public decision-making may connect to the issues affecting them.
This may include organising evidence, identifying the correct complaints or review pathway, preparing questions and correspondence, and connecting whānau with appropriate legal, kaupapa Māori or specialist support.
Pombrotho does not promise legal outcomes or replace qualified legal representation.
Our role is to help whānau understand the pathway, hold onto the facts and move forward with informed purpose.
Mā te ture, te ture hei āki — only the law can be pitched against the law.
